Looking Forward To Romance part 2

Yeon Ae and Ki Dae were on vacation with their couple in the same place. Ki Dae asked Yeon Ae to meet in the lighthouse. Yeon Ae tried to make her boyfriend being drunk by giving him a lot os wine so that she could be able to go out for meeting with Ki Dae. In the other hand, Ki Dae was surprise by her girlfriend (Sae Rom) who wear a sexy dress tempting him away. She asked him the thing that he should be prepared for her. Actually she wanted a proposal ring from Ki Dae but Ki Dae thought differenly. He was thingking of a condom. Then he asked her to wait in the room while he went out to get the thing she wanted.

The truth is Ki Dae went out to meet Yeon Ae. At the lighthouse, Ki Dae was waiting for Yeon Ae while a woman slowly approached him. Hi thought that she was Yeon Ae, but it was Sae Rom following him to the lighthouse. Ki Dae was afraid that she would knowhis meeting with Yeon Ae when she asking for the proposal ring. There’s misunderstanding between them. Ki Dae thought that Sae Rom just wanted the condom for they would make love there. Meanwhile Sae Rom wanted him to propose her before making love. She event thought that Ki Dae was pretty romantic guy because he chosen lighthouse more than the hotel room to propose her. She got upset when she knew that all was wrong, Ki Dae didn’t prepare anything for the proposal. she asked him to propose her in a month then leaving him back to the hotel room. Ki Dae didn’t look happy with that because he like Yeon Ae more than Sae Rom.

In the same time Yeon Ae arrived at the lighthouse (but whyits colour was red?..). waiting for Ki Dae, she felt asleep and woke up in the morning realizing that Ki Dae didn’t come. She got mad to Ki Dae but Ki Dae said that he also went to the lighthouse and didn’t find her there. Yeon Ae was preparing to get home when Ji Guk asked her to go to the lighthouse before leaving. Then he asked to the old woman where the lighthouse was. Yeon Ae and the old woman showed him the way but they pointed the different direction. Then the old woman explained them that there were 2 different lighthouse near the hotel.

Yeon Ae and Ki Dae got cold after the vacation because both of them spent the night waiting for each other at the lighthouse. Yeon Ae texted him and told him that they had gone to the different lighthouse. She also told him that she got cold and Ki Dae said so. Ki Dae decided to call Yeon Ae and taking care for each other condition. Then Yeon Ae given him the recipe she ate when she got cold so that he could maked it byhimself. She wanted him to ate so he could get better soon. They make garlic soup together while talking by phone. They ate the soup happily.

The days passed by, Ki Dae and Yeon Ae still kept in touch sharing their daily activity. They also were at the Seondae Guk restaurant after their date with Sae Rom and Ji Guk but they didn’t recognise each other. Do Yun scold Yeon Ae because Yeon Ae was more care to her phone than Ji Guk.

In the cinema Sae Rom reminded Ki Dae that it was almost a month since she wanted to be proposed by him. Ki Dae felt unease and suppressed. He was not ready for a mariage because he had no money enough to living in a marriage life. Well, as it always happened there was also Yeon Ae and Ji Guk in the same location with Ki Dae and Sae Rom. Ji Guk wanted to propose Yeon Ae and asked for an advise to Do Yun. She told him to get Yeon Ae to the Nam San and had a romantic dating before he propose her. Ji Guk did as Do Yun’s words but Yeon Ae didn’t like it. She was really shame and unease whenever Ji Guk got her the romantic things, liked asking every man in the Nam San tower to give her a rose. Ki Dae was one of the man that being asked by Ji Guk to give a rose to Yeon Ae. He was also in a date with Sae Rom at Nam San. Ki Dae of course didn’t know her but he also gave her a padlock and a key (at Nam San tower there was a tradition that a couple should  lock their name in a padlock and trew away the key ao that their relationship would last longer)because he saw that Yeon Ae was really uncomfortable by Ji Guk surprise.

The two couple was having a dinner in the same restaurant after went to Nam San tower. Ki Dae put Sae Rom’s heels and gave a present to Sae Rom a pair of sport shoes as a symbol that there would a long way to be through and he wanted Sae Rom felt comfortable. It was actually what Yeon Ae wanted from her boyfriend. It made her so envy, she looked at Sae Rom jelously. Sae Rom didn’t want to wear the shoes from Ki Dae and still she had a high expectation of getting a romantic things from Ki Dae. She said in confident way that she had known Ki Dae hide the ring  on the ice cream glass. She began to look for it and found a beautiful ring there. She was really happy but in the other hand Ki Dae was so surprise because he didn’t put the ring on the ice cream and actually he had no plan of giving Sae Rom a ring. Then suddenly a waitres came and informed that there was a mistake. The dessert was got accidently exchanged The ice cream with the ring on it should be in the Yeon Ae’s table. Then he asked regretly to Sae Rom to give back the ring to Ji Guk. Sae Rom finally got perforce to gave it back to the waitres. Ji Guk was really mad of the mistake done by the waitres. He felt so shame to Yeon Ae. Sae Rom left the restaurant and scloded to Ki Dae. She wanted Ki Dae to propose her in the way Ji Guk did to Yeon Ae and started to cry as she got many messages from her friends asking her wheter she got proposed or not. She then gave another chance to Ki Dae proposing her in front of her friends.

At the Nam Sam tower Ji Guk gave the ring to Yeon Ae. He apologized to her for the mistake made by the waitres in the restaurant. Yeon Ae refuse to take the ring, said that Ji Guk too pressed her of such thing and didn’t care about her feeling.  Ji Guk then told her that he just wanted to have an assurance that Yeon Ae was his girlfriend because when they were together he felt that Yeon Ae didn’t care enough to him and was always busy with her phone.  Then he left her alone. Ji Guk words surprised Yeon Ae. Maybe she felt guilty of Ji Guk. Yeon Ae then texted Ki Dae and told him what she had today. Ki Dae said that he might want to marry his girlfriend. Then both of them agreed to diminish their intensity of texting each other. Both of them seemed to be very sad. Yeon Ae put the padlock she got from Ki Dae in the tower and she wrote her name and lovemento on it. Then she left the tower.

Ki Dae began to focus on his relationship with Sae Rom. He did what she wanted and proposed her in front of her friends. Sae Rom looked really happy but not with him. it seems like it was perfect but the thruth was not like that. Before, in the jewelry shop they fough because Sae Rom paid for the ring she chosed. Ki Dae was so shame and angry. His pride was harmed by what Sae Rom just did. He wanted her to wait a litlle bit longer until he got enough money. But Sae Rom said that she wanted to wear the ring she wanted and it had to be suited with her social levels(She came from a rich family and she dated Ki Dae because eventhough  his family wasn’t too rich but he was a student of medical university and soon he would became a doctor). She wanted to be a brigde when she was still young and beautiful and she didn’t want to wear such a sport shoes he given before. She insisted to pay the ring and told him to just do as her words. Sae Rom showed her ring to her friends and showed them how lucky she was because her boyfriend was so kind and romantic. It saved her pride. Then she asked Ki Dae to have a dinner with her family on the weekend. In the same park where Ki Dae proposed Sae Rom, Ji Guk was also in dating with Yeon Ae. She gave more attention to him and wasn’t busy with her phone anymore. Ji Guk invited her to come to his house on the weekend.

Ki Dae and Yeon Ae were on their way to their girlfriend’s and boyfriend’s house. Both of them looked very unease. In front of the gate both of them realized that they had only to live in the reality. Yeon Ae wore a formal dress expecting that she would meet the whole family but there was only Ji Guk in the house. He said that his parents was on vacation and would be back on Monday. In the same time KI Dae met Sae Rom’s parents and greeted them respectly but her father looked like he dislike Ki Dae. Ji Guk asked Yeon Ae to cook their dinner together. It made her remember the time when she had cooked the garlic soup with Ki Dae. Then she wanted to make the same soup with Ji Guk, she asked whether he had the garlic and MSG but Ji Guk’s family didn’t use MSG in their meals. It realized Yeon Ae that she and Ji Guk were in the different levels. When Yeon Ae put her blazer off, Ji Guk thought that the signal that Yeon Ae wanted to make love with him (Ji Guk assumed that he disappointed Yeon Ae because he had drunked when they had been on the vacation). He pushed Yeon Ae and gave her a hard kiss fully of pasion. Yeon Ae was not ready for that and she run to the bathroom for then tried to send a message to Ki Dae. Ki Dae was in the middle of his conversation with Sae Rom’s parents when he received a message from Yeon Ae. Then he excused to go to the bathroom. He told Yeon Ae to do as her wanted and also he felt sorry because he couldn’t talked to her as he was in the Sae Rom’s house. Yeon Ae said that she didn’t wanna be Ji Guk, she just wanted to be with Ki Dae. Ki Dae continued his conversation with Sae Rom’s parents. Sae’s father revealed his disappointement as Ki Dae as a man he couldn’t drink, he had no car and house to live in. Sae Rom said that after they married she wanted a house near her parent’s. She also said that her parents would bought them the house and taken care of their children. Ki Dae was so upset because she decided all the things by herself and made him lost his pride in front of her parents. Ki Dae’s phone showed the message that just been sent by Yeon Ae. She revealed her feeling to him but Ki Dae didn’t look at the phone. Sae Rom’s father deplored his incapability to take care of her daughter. He kept saying that Ki Dae had nothing to be proud of,he was poor and married with Sae Rom was his way to be rich in quick. Then Ki Dae taken a deep breathe, bowed in his kneel and decided that he couldn’t married Sae Rom because of his condition. He left the house but he forgot to take his phone with. Sae Rom got his phone and saw the messages from Yeon Ae. Ji Guk said that his parents were in front of the house and that they canceled their vacation. Ji guk wanted Yeon Ae to get out through the back door. Yeon Ae started to cry because she felt like she just wasn’t priced by Ji Guk. Inside, Ji Guk entered the bathroom and found Ae’s phone. He tried to catch Yeon Ae to return it but Yeon Ae had just gone. Then Ji Guk opened the phone and saw the messages from Ki Dae.

Yeon Ae arrived at the Seondae restaurant and as usual there was also Ki Dae eatingthe seondae soup. In the same time they realized that they had leaved their own phone in the house of their girlfriend/boyfriend. Ki Dae decided to go back for taking his phone when Ji Guk arrived at the restaurant to return Yeon Ae’s phone and to tell her that he knew everything, that there’s someone else in Yeon Ae’s heart. Ji Guk scold at her and told her that he was disappointed. Yeon Ae wanted to end their relationship. Ji Guk Got angry and couldn’t accept it, he throw away the soup and the phone too. In the other restaurant Ki Dae was talking with Sae Rom. She couldn’t accept that  she could loose from the imaginary girl. She wanted him to stay in reality and do what she wanted. Ki Dae told her that what he said to her father was serious. He said that Sae Rom didn’t love him, the only thing she loved was herself. Her pride was hurted by Ki Dae, Sae Rom offended at him and she ended their relationship before leaving.

Yeon Ae leaved the restaurant and Ji Guk tried to catched her. he wanted her back. When she saw him  it reminded her of herself as the octopus girl. She felt sorry for him. she found the bad side of her that she hated the feeling of being dumped by someone, she found that her pride had been always more important than the other thing. Both of Ki Dae and Yeon Ae relized that it wasn’t the date nor the marriage that they needed in their life, they oly needed someone like them. Ki Dae asked Yeon Ae to meet in real.

It was a rainy day when Philip accompanied Ki Dae to meet Yeon Ae. Philip reminded him that he was just wanted to run away from his relationship with Sae Rom, that he had lived in illution, that he had to start living with the girls in phone from the begining and it wasted time. But Ki Dae insisted to make sure that he got the right girl by meeting her.

Yeon Ae wearing the octopus girl’s boot walked to meet Ki Dae. She was sure that Ki Dae would recognise her by seeing her boot. They would meet at near the Mago bridge. Yeon Ae saw Ki Dae standing under the rain and the umbrella cover his face. Ki Dae was also wanted to look at her face but the umbrella covered her face too. They began to raise the umbrella so that they could see each other when Ji Guk came in ffront of Yeon Ae. Ki Dae saw it and he covered his face with his umbrella. Ji Guk conffessed his mistakes and he really couldn’t be without her. he bow in his kneel and said that he loved her. Yeon Ae asked him to leave when she got a message from Ki Dae. Ki Dae said that it was the pride that the octopus girls looked before the other thing, but for the man (Ji Guk) Yeon Ae was the the first thing he looked at before the other things. It means that she’s really important to Ji Guk and that Ki Dae saw the honesty in Ji Guk. Then Ki Dae left them off.

In the end of the movie the scene was back to 4 years earlier when Ki Dae arrived at the restaurant to meet his blind date. He bumped a girl and dropped her stuff. He helped her to take her stuff when he found a her name. It was Joo Yeon Ae.
